Mike Engle: Moved to Colorado in the early 60's. Grew up influenced by supergroups like Led Zepplin and the Stones. Later influenced by Lynard Skinard, Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix. Played accoustic guitar thru high school. In his early 20's started playing in duets and trios at parties and small bars. Joined the Woodies in 1993 running sound and stage set ups till a singer was needed moving to the bass in 1999. Mike loves the bass, the mountains, movies, working with wood, motorcycles, camping, guitar store hopping and hanging with all his freinds in the band.
