Lowell George, Eric Clapton, Jerry Douglas, Dr. John, Beatles, Bluegrass, Blues, Rhythm and Blues, Country New and Orleans Jazz.
Started Guitar at 8 years old. Listened to a lot of jazz and country when he was young, got interested in blues and rock with Hendrix and Cream. Took up keys when no one else wanted the job. Became interested in Bluegrass because of the low volume intensity & challenge of musicianship without volume or effects. Joined first band at the age of 12.
